Hello to all,
Concerning the 2022 season, I made 104 trips during the month of August. I was able to observe the blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus), fin whales (Balaenoptera physalus), minke whale (Balaenoptera acutorostrata), humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae), beluga (Delphinapterus leucas), grey seal (Halichoerus grypus) and harbour porpoise (Phocoena phocoena). There was an incredible outing where we were able to observe all the species of marine mammals during the 2 hour cruise! This summer my daughter accompanied me almost every day for the 08:30 departure. To share these moments with her is very important for me to show her my work and the marine world.
Number of outings with Essipit since 2008 with a break between 2017 and 2021 :
Season 2022: 104 cruises
Season 2016 : ? cruises
Season 2015: 180 cruises
2014 season: 174 cruises
Season 2013: 185 cruises
Season 2012: 174 cruises
2011 season: 169 cruises
Season 2010 : 129 cruises
Season 2008 : ? cruises (June only)
I would have liked to compare with the 2008 season because I stayed there for about a month like in 2022. Indeed, I was leaving for the French Polynesia in July 2008 and the logbook is no longer accessible.
This year 2023 will be my tenth season!
Sincerely.
