Captain Hook Whale (June 2013)

This fin whale is a very famous female in Eastern Canada and Quebec. Its name is "Captain Hook".

It frequents the waters of the St. Lawrence (Quebec, Canada) since 1994. We have all met her at least once at sea! Last year I saw her with her little one.

Unfortunately, she has been entangled in crab fishing gear in the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park for several days. The rescue team will intervene to save her.
