Island Expedition: an opening to the open sea for children
and teenagers of all nationalities.
Fondée en 1985, l’association Island Expedition is a school of the sea for children, teenagers and adults. Its offices are located in France and in the Bahamas, and its members invest all their energy in various environmental protection actions.
She has organized more than 80 expeditions, published hundreds of articles in the international press, filmed and co-produced documentaries and programs broadcast on European, American and Australian television.
Since 1997, Island Expedition has launched, over a period of 10 years (1997-2007), a world tour in order to meet new cultures, and new people, with completely different traditions and marine environments. In April and May, the members of the association reached the Bahamas and the Caribbean, working on a program of environmental preservation and culture of these islands.
